How it works

Different names are calculated as separate print runs.

Business card pricing is normally based on the quantity of each individual design or name rather than the combined number of cards.

For example, if four employees each need 250 cards, the calculator treats the order as four separate 250-card sets, rather than one 1,000-card order.

Paper, finishing, size, and other production requirements can also affect the final cost.

Please note

This calculator provides an estimate for planning and comparison. Actual printing costs may vary depending on artwork, production requirements, shipping, taxes, special finishing, and other specifications.

Print-ready business cards

Designed for the edge.
Protected where it matters.

A standard U.S. business card finishes at 3.5 × 2 inches. Extend artwork 0.0394 in (1 mm) beyond the trim and keep critical content at least 0.1181 in (3 mm) inside the finished edge.

01

0.0394 in Bleed

Extend backgrounds and full-bleed artwork 0.0394 in (1 mm) beyond the trim edge on every side.

02

3.5 × 2 in Trim

The red trim line shows the exact finished business card size: 3.5 × 2 in (88.9 × 50.8 mm).

03

0.1181 in Safe Area

Keep names, logos, QR codes, and other critical content at least 0.1181 in (3 mm) inside the trim line.

Spot UV finishing

Printed in color.
Finished in layers.

Spot UV starts with the CMYK printed sheet, adds a full-surface matte laminate, then places high-gloss UV only where the design calls for it.

01

CMYK Print Layer

The full-color artwork is printed first, forming the base image and typography of the business card.

02

Matte Lamination

A clear matte film is applied across the entire printed surface to create a smooth, low-glare finish.

03

Spot UV

Gloss UV coating is applied only to selected artwork, creating a sharp contrast against the matte surface.
